From Galway City, follow N84 (Castlebar) as far as Headford town. Go straight ahead at traffic lights (R334). On entering Cross village, turn left at junction to Cong (R345). Go through Cong village (one way system) turn left opposite supermarket and garage and then left at Y junction (signposted An Lionan). Continue until you reach a T junction, turn left and continue on R345 until you reach Corr na Móna village. Cross the bridge and turn down the road beside the pub, Tí Mháille, and travel for 3km until you see the lake on your left and the house on your right.

By rail or bus to Galway city.  Local bus service to Cong (arrange for collection). There is no bus service direct to Corr na Móna.
